The goals of the company are:

• Platform for the technology transformation at the TU Vienna and in the automotive industry
• International recognition of the industry partners and the TU Vienna in the field of
  energy, mobility, automotive and propulsion technology
• Acquisition of research projects jointly performed with the industry to finance the
  necessary investment and to foster the partner company’s and the university`s activities
  especially in the new areas of electromobility and synthetic fuels

ame GmbH operates on a global basis with the automotive, the mobility and the energy industry.

The joint work enables industry partners to carry out research projects leveraging the capability of the Technical University. Confidentiality of the work with individual industry partners can be assured due to the set-up of the ame GmbH company and the facilities.

TU Wien will invest in equipment for research and development dedicated to the ame GmbH. The respective areas for these investments are electrified propulsion systems, the integration of these propulsion systems into the vehicle and the development of the technologies for future vehicles. New vehicle technologies, such as by-wire technologies will be expanded.

The work of ame GmbH should provide input for the strategies of the automotive industry and for the evaluation of the political target setting of the governmental authorities.
